WSV Oberfell

WSV Oberfell e. V. is a community water sports club based in Oberfell, on the Moselle River, where it brings together people of different ages who enjoy the outdoors, boating and social events.

The club welcomes visitors to learn about its activities and experience a water sports area it describes as one of the Moselle’s most scenic. Its offerings include sailing, motorboating and competitive sailing, with regular monthly races and an annual Riesling Regatta. Club members compete in classes including Monas and Aquila, and events have also included the Oberfell-Alken Cup and the club championship.

The sailing calendar combines organised racing with informal activities such as seasonal opening and closing outings, Nikolaus sailing and shared gatherings at the clubhouse. These events help make participation about more than competition, bringing sailing crews and non-sailing members together on and off the water. WSV Oberfell also shares news, event reports, photographs and information about its water sports, while welcoming spectators to selected regattas
