Het hypermoderne WTC Expo evenementencomplex is opgericht in 1963 met één overdekte expositiehal voor de veemarkt van Leeuwarden en is inmiddels met meer dan 45.000 vierkante meter tentoonstellingsoppervlakte, uitgegroeid tot het grootste evenementencomplex van Noord Nederland. WTC Expo heeft volop allure en biedt onbegrensde mogelijkheden. Het is dé toplocatie voor spraakmakende (internationale) beurzen, feesten, evenementen, vergaderingen, seminars, symposia en congressen. Het WTC Expo Leeuwarden geniet nationale bekendheid vanwege haar goede bereikbaarheid, topproducties en faciliteiten. De verbouwing en uitbreiding in 2009 heeft ervoor gezorgd dat het WTC Expo complex diverse congreszalen, vergaderruimtes, een 4 sterren WestCord WTC hotel met 143 kamers, een zakensociëteit en conferentiecentrum, een brasserie, een bar en een restaurant barlounge met schitterend uitzicht over de stad Leeuwarden inpandig heeft. Het centrale WTC Plaza verbindt alle functies van het WTC Expo met elkaar. Elke vergaderzaal in het congrescentrum is hypermodern en maakt het WTC Expo daarom een unieke vergaderlocatie. WTC Expo is met de volledigheid van haar faciliteiten de perfecte ontmoetingsplaats voor het bedrijfsleven en biedt alle mogelijkheden voor elke bijeenkomst of evenement.
