Würfelgleis

Würfelgleis is a community-focused games and meeting place in Braunschweig’s western Ringgebiet, run as a neighborhood project of the Braunschweiger Friedenskirche. Its team of paid and volunteer staff welcomes people who want to play, meet others, talk, or help shape local activities. The central offering is an open games café with a broad collection of board and card games, including party, family, children’s, strategy, and more challenging games.

Visitors can come alone or with a group, and staff are available to explain the rules. The venue also offers table football, billiards, and air hockey. Guests can order food and drinks supplied by partner Café BRUNS, including sandwiches, bubble waffles, nachos, snacks, coffee, tea, and soft drinks.

Groups of up to ten can reserve a place by email or in person. Würfelgleis also takes games into the neighborhood, including a Wednesday afternoon play gathering at Piratenspielplatz. Through its activities and community channels, it aims to foster connection and make space for local ideas
