About WUSHU MALAYSIA
The Wushu Federation of Malaysia, formerly known as the Malaysian Chinese Wushu Federation, was established on April 4, 1978. It is the official governing body recognized by the Malaysian government and the Olympic Council of Malaysia for the promotion and management of Wushu sports. As a member of the International Wushu Federation, Asian Wushu Federation, and China-ASEAN Wushu Federation, the Wushu Federation of Malaysia plays a significant role in promoting Wushu internationally.
The Federation organizes various events nationwide, including the National Wushu Championship, National KPM Youth Wushu Championship, and collaborates on Wushu events at the Malaysia Games. With members in 13 states and 3 federal territories, the Federation is dedicated to the development and promotion of Wushu in Malaysia. Led by Datuk Teo Eee Wei as the current President, the Federation continues to advance the practice and appreciation of Wushu in the country.
