Wielervereniging Snits (WV Snits) is a cycling club serving Sneek and the surrounding area in Friesland, the Netherlands. With more than 280 members, the association brings together people who ride and others who want to support cycling as volunteers. Its aim is to help members get more from the sport by offering cycling companions, practical knowledge, activities and facilities.
WV Snits organises more than twenty races each year at locations across Friesland. These events are not affiliated with the KNWU and are open to all participants. The programme includes circuit races, criteriums and time trials, with riders competing in different categories. The club also runs club competitions, seasonal competitions and time-trial events.
Members can take part in training sessions for both adults and young people, as well as training and competition activities at the cycling track. Additional benefits include reduced race entry fees and the opportunity to buy professional club clothing at a discounted price.
