About WWQA World Water Quality Alliance
The World Water Quality Alliance (WWQA) is a global, multi-stakeholder network dedicated to advocating for freshwater quality to achieve prosperity and sustainability. With a focus on improving water quality worldwide, the WWQA engages various sectors of society to address the challenges of water pollution and ecosystem restoration. Established in response to a UN Environment Assembly resolution, the WWQA works collaboratively to monitor, analyze, and communicate water quality risks at all levels.
By involving local communities and younger generations, the alliance aims to design tailored solutions for a sustainable future. Through 16 active workstreams, the WWQA facilitates partnerships with experts from diverse backgrounds to ensure comprehensive engagement.
