Fundacja Profilaktyki i Leczenia Uzależnień „Wybór” is a Polish foundation focused on preventing and addressing addiction, particularly alcohol-related problems. It supports people affected by alcohol dependence and other addictions, as well as their families and those experiencing codependency. The foundation offers access to psychological support and legal assistance, including free psychological consultations for individuals and families affected by addiction.
Alongside direct support, „Wybór” runs educational and preventive initiatives for children and young people, including summer educational day camps and socio-therapeutic camps for young people from families facing difficulties. Its activities also include conferences, community festivals and other prevention-focused events. These programmes combine education, social engagement and support for children and families.
The foundation invites people seeking help to get in touch and welcomes donations, volunteering and other forms of involvement. Based in Poznań, it also encourages supporters to contribute through Poland’s 1.5% tax allocation scheme. Through its assistance and community projects, „Wybór” works to help individuals and families affected by addiction and strengthen prevention efforts.
