About Wyoming Immigrant Advocacy
The Wyoming Immigrant Advocacy Project (WIAP) is an organization dedicated to promoting and defending the rights of immigrants in Wyoming. Its mission is to expand access to reliable, affordable immigration assistance and help people make informed decisions that support their families and communities. WIAP provides free and low-cost legal services to clients who need immigration assistance. Its work also includes systemic advocacy for a welcoming community, public education that offers reliable immigration information, and training to equip volunteer attorneys with essential immigration knowledge.
Through these services, WIAP addresses gaps in legal representation for immigrants facing court proceedings and other immigration matters. The organization also shares know-your-rights materials, community resources, immigration updates, and news to help people understand changing issues and find support. WIAP works with community members and partners to advance its mission and invites the public to learn more, seek help, subscribe to updates, or donate. Based in Jackson, Wyoming, the project serves as a legal resource and advocate for immigrants across the state.
