XAI4HEAT is a research project facilitating Explainable AI-assisted operations in District Heating Systems, funded by Prisma program of Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. The project was first ranked among the 8 awarded projects in the thematic area of Artificial Intelligence, after two-stage evaluation. Implementation started on December, 1st, 2023 and will carry out for next three years. Awarded budget is 289,900.00 EUR. It engages 9 researchers in different career stage from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Electronics, University of Niš.

About XAI4HEAT Project: Explainable AI-assisted district heating
XAI4HEAT is a cutting-edge research project focused on implementing Explainable AI-assisted operations in District Heating Systems. This innovative initiative is funded by the Prisma program of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, with a generous budget of 289,900.00 EUR. The project, which commenced on December 1st, 2023, is set to span over the next three years.
XAI4HEAT brings together a team of 9 skilled researchers at different career stages from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Electronics at the University of Niš. Led by experts like Milan Zdravković and Ivan Ćirić, the project aims to advance the integration of Artificial Intelligence in heating systems for increased efficiency and sustainability.
