XARIA

XARIA SSD Srl is an Italian nonprofit amateur sports company based at Verona Boscomantico Airport. Founded in 2018 by aviation professionals, psychologists and researchers, it works to make aviation more inclusive, accessible and innovative. Its central initiative aims to develop an Italian protocol enabling people with motor disabilities to obtain EASA-recognized pilot licences while meeting European safety requirements.

XARIA combines scientific research, professional training and practical support. Its research explores disability compatibility with piloting, assessment of motor and cognitive performance, and adaptations to aircraft, including electronic or mechatronic controls. The organization also develops personalized training pathways and supports access to aviation careers, with particular attention to women and underrepresented groups. Its APM-A program builds skills such as communication, leadership, decision-making, situational awareness and stress management, from introductory to advanced levels. XARIA offers aviation psychology consultations and training for professionals, and helps people address fear of flying. It also promotes aerial sports, including parachuting, aerobatics and paragliding, through its Masterteam, whose athletes compete nationally and internationally.
