XMapsy

XMapsy is a software brand focused on connecting flight simulators with electronic flight bag (EFB) apps and aviation software. Established as a tool for simulator pilots in 2009, it supports Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020, FSX, Prepar3D, and—through XMapsy V3—X-Plane 10 and 11. The software runs in the background and sends the simulated aircraft’s position and AI traffic information over a local network to compatible apps on iOS and Android devices.

Supported EFBs include ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, WingX Pro, SkyDemon, Aerovie, FlyQ, AvPlan EFB, OzRunways, EasyVFR, FltPlan GO, Air Navigation Pro, and others. These apps can provide features such as moving maps, flight planning, synthetic vision, and weather information, helping users create a more realistic simulation experience or practise with familiar aviation tools. XMapsy offers two versions: XMapsy V3 and the more basic, lower-cost XMapsy Essential. Both are available to test without a time limit, though trial use is geographically restricted. The company continues to develop its products, welcomes user feedback, and provides support in German and English.
