XMTP Labs is an organization exploring how to build technology people can trust. Its approach centers on openness and inspectability: the team builds projects, experiments with ideas, and shares what it learns. Its work includes XMTP, an open-source protocol for secure, quantum-resistant communication.

The site also presents Picnic, a project that gives people control over what they share with agents. Convos, described as private group conversations, is among the things XMTP Labs has tried. Alongside its products and experiments, XMTP Labs publishes ideas about privacy, encryption, trust, and the future of attention on the internet.

Its writing includes discussion of privacy in a quantum world and reflections on questions the technology community may be avoiding. The site offers links to its blog and careers information, as well as an invitation to get in touch. Overall, XMTP Labs combines protocol development with practical explorations and public writing, sharing both what it is building and the questions that inform its work
