The Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is a government body providing online information services related to migration and document verification. Through its official website, users can check whether a Russian passport appears on the list of invalid passports and verify the validity of work permits and patents issued for foreign citizens and stateless persons. The site also offers a check for the validity of licenses to employ Russian citizens outside the Russian Federation, as well as a service for checking invitations issued to foreign citizens and stateless persons entering Russia.

Another information service allows users to check whether there are grounds, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for denying foreign citizens or stateless persons entry into the country. For highly qualified specialists, the website provides tools to submit a petition and search for petitions. Together, these services support access to migration-related checks and procedures through the Directorate’s official online platform
