Хлеб Ямала is a regional bread festival celebrating the baking traditions and local communities of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Held across the region’s municipalities from September 18 to 20, 2026, the festival brings together local bakeries and farmers for fairs featuring bread, baked goods, and regional products. Visitors can join hands-on baking workshops, enjoy concerts and folk dances, and sample fresh-from-the-oven treats, including pышки, grilled food, and tea from a samovar.

The festival also includes a public quiz about bread and Yamal, with more than 1,000 prizes available to eligible participants. Registration involves answering eight questions and presenting a personal QR code at a designated venue for verification. Prizes include electronics and household items, with a one-bedroom apartment in Tyumen as the grand prize. Results are announced through Yamal-Media community broadcasts and Yamal television.
