Kru​​g Dobra is a Russian charitable foundation established by Presidential Decree in January 2021 to support children with severe, life-threatening and chronic conditions, including rare (orphan) diseases. Its mission is to help children across Russia receive timely, effective medicines and medical care, bringing together medical experts, doctors, patient organisations, researchers and citizens. The foundation funds assistance through individual applications and the “14 High-Cost Diseases” programme.

Support includes medicines, medical devices and technical rehabilitation equipment; the site reports 140 items across its procurement lists and programmes and assistance provided, or planned, for around 30,000 children. Parents, legal representatives and beneficiaries aged 18 or older can apply for medical assistance through Russia’s Unified Public Services Portal. Kru​​g Dobra also provides practical guidance for families and healthcare specialists, including application documents, disease information, educational materials, presentations, seminars and webinars.
