LXochitl Vallejos

Dr. L. Xochitl Vallejos is a licensed psychotherapist, author, speaker, and writer whose work brings existential psychology into conversation with liberation theory and relationship anarchy. With more than twenty years of experience and a Ph.D. in existential psychology, Dr. Vallejos supports people and organizations in exploring how freedom, responsibility, and justice shape the ways we connect. Their approach views love and relationships as part of broader social transformation, grounded in consent, autonomy, mutual care, and collective liberation.

Services include relationship anarchy coaching, psychotherapy, professional presentations, teaching, and organizational work. Coaching and clinical work invite clients to question inherited expectations about love and family, build chosen community, and create connections aligned with their values—without relying on ownership, control, or rigid hierarchies. Dr. Vallejos also offers educational resources through Liberation U and shares their ideas in writing, including The Relationship Anarchist Cookbook. Drawing on thinkers such as bell hooks, Gloria Anzaldúa, Frantz Fanon, and Simone de Beauvoir, Dr. Vallejos frames intentional connection as a practice of personal freedom and social change.
