Designed to work with existing flight systems, the software optimizes maneuvers around a customer’s chosen mission timeline, aiming to reduce delta-v and preserve fuel. In modeled missions involving five targets, xOrbita reports that improved maneuver ordering cut propellant use by up to 52% without affecting the schedule.

The company is also developing the CQD-CMOS Sensor, a compact short-wave infrared imaging payload intended to detect debris approximately 10 centimeters in size from orbit and improve information for maneuver decisions. Its planned data products include detection events, refined orbital estimates, and risk analytics for GNC systems, insurers, regulators, and space situational awareness partners. xOrbita presents these offerings as complementary tools: software to make better maneuver choices, supported by improved orbital information.
