As the southernmost town on the coast, Xcalak offers a unique and biodiverse eco-system, including 15 miles of protected coral reefs, mangroves, rivers, and lagoons. At XTC Dive Center, we are at the center of the Great Maya Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world.

We specialize in scuba diving and offer a variety of experiences, including deep and shallow walls, canyons, swim-throughs, and exotic marine reef creatures. Our local dive sites are home to manatees, dolphins, tarpons, turtles, rays, sharks, and more. For those seeking further adventure, we organize day trips to Banco Chinchorro, which boasts pristine reefs and diving. We even offer thrilling 3-day crocodile encounters!

In addition to our diving experiences, we offer PADI courses for beginners and certified divers, with a focus on ocean conservation through our partnership with Project AWARE. Our full-service dive center also provides snorkeling excursions and guided kayak or SUP tours.
