Yachtclub Dessau

Yachtclub Dessau e.V. is a sailing and watersports club in Dessau-Roßlau, founded in 1931 and located at Leopoldshafen on the Elbe, beside the Dessau Elbe Cycle Route. Members enjoy cruising on inland waters and sailing on the Baltic and North Seas, with popular destinations including the Mecklenburg lakes, Danish and Swedish waters, and the lagoons around Rügen. The club also welcomes visiting boaters and water travellers seeking a stop along the river.

The harbour has around 35 floating berths, including spaces for day visitors, although berths for 2026 are fully booked and the club says it cannot take reservations. Facilities include a secure club site, a slipway with an electric winch for boats up to eight tonnes, and a crane for boats up to four tonnes. Visitors can use toilets, showers, drinking water, free Wi-Fi, and barbecue facilities. Camping is available for water travellers, cyclists with tents, and motorhome visitors.
