YADES is a groundbreaking MSCA RISE Project that aims to enhance the resilience of cultural heritage (CH) areas and historic cities against various hazards, including climate change. By utilizing innovative technologies and advanced machine learning techniques, YADES aims to deliver an integrated platform for resilience assessment and sustainable reconstruction of historic areas. This platform incorporates proper modeling tools, state-of-the-art sensors, and cutting-edge sensors like drones, providing precise inspection of the selected CH sites.

The project also focuses on quantifying climatic, hydrological, and atmospheric stressors to estimate the potential impacts of climate change on historic areas. Additionally, YADES develops a Cultural Heritage Resilience Assessment Platform (CHRAP) and Decision Support System (DSS), integrating various analysis and modeling tools to produce both quantitative and qualitative loss estimations. The project also includes the provision of a handbook to assist practitioners and authorities in making better-informed decisions.

With 10 partners and 400 planned secondment months of researchers, YADES aims to build a network of experts and enhance their careers while developing market-oriented skills to face future challenges
