About Yahalom Foundation
Yahalom Foundation is the alumni association of Yahalom Unit, the Special Engineering Unit of the IDF. Established in 2015 by unit graduates, Yahalom Foundation is a non-profit organization. 100% of the foundation's revenue is dedicated to social initiatives benefiting active and reserve soldiers in the IDF, as well as the community in Israel.
The foundation's vision is to create a high-quality infrastructure that promotes the welfare of Israeli society and nurtures the personal and professional capabilities of Yahalom Unit graduates, while preserving the unit's heritage for future generations. The foundation's objectives include providing assistance to soldiers and alumni during their military service and in transitioning to civilian life, strengthening connections between alumni and the unit, fostering collaborative efforts and support in employment and social initiatives, providing support to lone soldiers serving in Yahalom Unit, preserving the unit's legacy and honoring fallen soldiers, and encouraging alumni engagement in community projects. © Copyright 2020 Build by Yahalom
