YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative) is a brand dedicated to developing the next generation of African leaders. Launched by the United States government, YALI offers comprehensive programs and training to young African leaders, empowering them to lead with integrity and make a positive impact in their communities. YALI Regional Leadership Center West Africa, based in Accra, provides various tracks to cater to different leadership aspirations.

The Business and Entrepreneurship track helps emerging entrepreneurs to take on leadership roles in the private sector or establish their own business ventures. The Civil Society Management track focuses on civic engagement and serving the public through NGOs, community organizations, or volunteerism. The Public Policy and Management track is tailored for those interested in governmental or public-minded organizations.

YALI West Africa accepts young leaders aged 18 to 35 from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Burkina Faso. Participants receive rigorous leadership training and, upon completion, are awarded certificates and become members of the YALI Alumni.
