YampaRiverOutfitters

Yampa River Outfitters is a fly-fishing guide and outfitting service based in the Steamboat Springs area of northwest Colorado. Founded in 2003 by local guide Paul Russell, the company was created to bring experienced, passionate guides together to help clients pursue trophy trout. Russell has guided on the Yampa and Elk Rivers for more than 20 years, and the business emphasizes intimate river knowledge and plans tailored to the day’s fishing conditions.

The outfitter offers guided float-fishing trips and walk-and-wade outings on the Yampa River and other destination waters, including the Elk River. These rivers are known for populations of large rainbow and brown trout. Yampa River Outfitters aims to provide professional, high-quality guided experiences on trophy-quality fishing waters, serving anglers seeking a memorable day on the river or a chance to catch trout.

Visitors can explore destinations, guide information, pricing, fishing reports, and client reviews, then submit a booking request. The website also provides online payment access and links to local fishing-license, weather, and river-flow resources.
