About The Yankee Bookshop
The Yankee Bookshop, established in 1935, has been a beloved fixture in Woodstock and its neighboring towns for over eight decades. Our extensive collection of books, along with a distinctive range of vinyl records, stationery, bookish gifts, puzzles, and more, ensures there's something for everyone. As the eighth and current local owners, Kari Meutsch and Kristian Preylowski, along with their dedicated team, are committed to preserving the legacy of this historic bookstore.
In 2017, they took over the shop with the support of Phoenix Books owners Michael DeSanto and Renee Reiner.
