About YAPS
YAPS, the Young Adult Portuguese Society, is a gathering of young inspiring professionals and entrepreneurs in South Africa with Portuguese heritage. We host various events for our community across South Africa, striving to empower Portuguese youth and connect them to their culture, heritage, and charitable causes. Affiliated with the South African Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, each YAPS member enjoys free access to all Chamber events.
Our partnerships with organizations like the Portuguese Welfare Society and Porto Business School enrich our offerings. We keep our members updated on the latest Portuguese festivals in South Africa, offer Portuguese lessons, and provide a marketplace for Portuguese-owned products and services.
