Yashar Mahmudi

Yashimosh is the independent brand strategy and design practice of Yashar Mahmoudi, serving clients in Kurdish, Persian, Arabic, and English. Its work begins with research into a business’s needs and existing creative operations, using staff interviews, buyer surveys, and local context to identify what is working and what is not. From there, Yashar develops brand strategies and identity systems designed to work across languages, platforms, and teams.

Services include brand strategy, visual identity, editorial design, right-to-left typography, creative direction, workflow optimisation, AI content workflows, team training, and product and code development. The practice has created identities and publications for organisations and brands including the Kurdistan Studies Institute, Raaznet, Poetics Magazine, and Khan Laptop. It also builds practical systems, editable files, and team workflows so clients can maintain and extend the work independently after handover. Yashimosh’s process moves from diagnosis to installation and hands-on training, with the goal of leaving a working system rather than a design presentation alone.
