Yawara

Yawara Berlin e.V. is a sports club in Berlin Wedding offering training in self-defense and martial arts. Its main focus is Ju-Jutsu, a modern self-defense system taught in a variety of forms, including practical self-defense, competition and recreational sport. The club welcomes people who want to learn effective ways to defend themselves, build confidence, improve movement skills or simply enjoy exercising with others.

Training takes place in a friendly dojo on a 117-square-metre mat area, where members practise falling safely, self-defense techniques and other martial arts skills. Sessions are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Visitors can drop in without registering and try several sessions free of charge; simple sports clothing is sufficient. The sports hall is accessible by subway, with its entrance through the schoolyard.

Yawara Berlin e.V. is located at Müllerstraße 158, 13353 Berlin. For questions, prospective members can contact Philip Breustedt by phone at 0157 71701538 or by email at [email protected].
