Eastern Horizon is a publication of the Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM), a national organization that coordinates over 270 Buddhist organizations in Malaysia. The magazine, published three times a year, aims to inspire, stimulate, and share non-profit and non-sectarian views. YBAM offers various programs and activities, including providing guidance to students in establishing Buddhist societies, conducting training courses, arranging lectures by Buddhist scholars, assisting with the Malaysian Buddhist Examination, and organizing welfare, cultural, and educational activities.

Additionally, YBAM publishes Eastern Horizon, Buddhist Digest Chinese Series, Berita YBAM, and other Buddhist materials in multiple languages.
