About Yayasan Sejahtera Kulai
Yayasan Bandaraya Johor Bahru (YBJB) is a non-profit organization established in 1994 by Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB) to assist underprivileged families and marginalized individuals in Johor Bahru. YBJB's main objective is to alleviate poverty and provide support to those in need within the city. Targeting Malaysian citizens residing within the jurisdiction of MBJB, with an income of RM4,850.
00 and below, YBJB focuses on the B40 group, prioritizing families with an income of RM1,267. 00 and below, known as the Urban Hardcore Poor. As a corporate body (Yayasan) operating under the Akta Pemegang Amanah (Pemerbadanan) 1952, YBJB organizes various poverty alleviation programs, including the Rental Assistance Program and the Back to School Program.
