YC Nechranice

Yacht Club Nechranice is a sailing and watersports club based at the Nechranice Reservoir in the Czech Republic. The club supports sailing activity at the reservoir and organizes a programme of races and events for sailors across a range of boat classes. Its competitions have included Optimist, ILCA, 420, Fireball, Cadet, RS Feva, RS 400, Flying Dutchman and other classes, as well as Czech national championships and international events such as the ILCA Europa Cup. The club also hosts youth sailing competitions, including the Czech Junior Nationals, and shares event news, photographs and videos on its website.

Alongside its sporting activities, the club maintains a base for members and visitors at the reservoir. Its site provides practical updates about the facility, race schedules and notices for boat owners. The club is also connected with water rescue at Nechranice: its history records that members established a local Red Cross Water Rescue Service group in 1995 to provide organized physical and professional assistance in emergencies.
