About YECAP in Asia and the Pacific
The Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) is an initiative established by UNDP in Asia and the Pacific, in collaboration with various organizations, to address the urgent need for action on the climate agenda. With the increasing interest and engagement of young people in climate issues, YECAP aims to empower youth from diverse backgrounds to actively participate in climate action and advocate for a just and sustainable future.
YECAP provides a platform for young people to engage in meaningful activities, including dialogue sessions, climate action weeks, conferences, and trainings. Through these initiatives, young individuals can enhance their knowledge, skills, and networks in order to contribute effectively towards climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts.
