Yeguada Los Alcores

Yeguada Los Alcores is a family-run Spanish Purebred horse stud founded by the Aguilar-Mateos family in 1992 in Valladolid, Spain. The breeding program combines bloodlines associated with the Escalera and Romero Benítez studs, alongside horses from the Miura lineage. Its focus is on producing PRE horses valued for breed purity, size, conformation, beauty, movement and functionality.

Over the years, the stud’s horses have earned numerous awards at morphology and functionality competitions, including more than 50 titles for best breeding stud at national events. Its horses have also achieved recognition in dressage, including Deseo VI’s Spanish Young Horse Championship at Montenmedio in 2001. Yeguada Los Alcores offers horses and mares for sale, as well as foals from six months old and trained, ridden horses and mares. The business also operates a stallion station and welcomes prospective buyers to visit for guidance tailored to their needs. Located near Villalba de los Alcores, the stud provides information about its horses, competitions and facilities through its website.
