Yellow Frame Farm is a historic equestrian property in Millbrook, Dutchess County, New York, with a tradition of celebrating horses and equestrian life since 1940. Described as a retirement facility for horses, the farm provides individualized boarding and attentive day-to-day care in a stable accommodating up to 15 horses. Facilities include wash stalls, a tack room, a hay loft, and stalls supplied with bedding, water, feed, and hay. Seasonal care includes indoor heating and blankets in cold weather, plus fans and ventilation during summer.
The 125-acre grounds offer nine wooden-fenced paddocks with automatic waterers and grass, two fields planted in rotating corn and soybeans, mature trees, and a brook. The farm is also home to cows, pigs, chickens, guinea hens, and other animals. Barbara and Donald Tober purchased the property in 1987 and developed its carefully curated grounds and artwork. Yellow Frame Farm welcomes the Millbrook Hunt, the Millbrook Hounds, and other local organizations, combining equestrian facilities with a hospitable setting for community gatherings.
