About YES Disability
YES Disability Resource Centre is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that young people with disabilities and learning differences have equal representation in governance, planning, and employment. Our mission is to provide support, engagement, and empowerment to these individuals through a wide range of resources, networks, opportunities, and projects. We aim to assist them in their transition journey, professional development, and overall well-being.
Our team is friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced in walking alongside young people with disabilities. We encourage and support them on their personal journey of building a meaningful life that is independent, fulfilled, and thriving. At YES, we work closely with Ministers, Government officials, and organizations within the youth and disability sectors, enabling us to provide high-level support and tailored information to our members' individual needs.
We are also the central access point for information and support for all people living with a disability, their families/whanau, support people, health professionals, and organizations. Discover our youth services, designed specifically for young people with disabilities, offering vital information and support. Explore our diverse range of workshops and programs focused on holistic support and professional and leadership development.
By becoming a YES Super Hero and Barrier Buster through a monthly or one-off donation, you can help us empower and support young people with disabilities, creating greater opportunities for them to lead independent, fulfilling, and thriving lives.
