About YesWePlan!
YesWePlan! is a brand that aims to close the gender gap in the field of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, YesWePlan! connects different European partner organizations to share experiences and best practice examples. The project was conducted from November 2019 to April 2022.
YesWePlan! offers a range of products and services to promote women in the industry. They have developed concrete tools, methods, and approaches to increase gender equity in education, vocational training, professional representation, support, and working conditions. These recommendations are based on the project survey, which included country situation reports, a career tracking system, qualitative interviews, and a collection of best practice examples.
The brand also provides country situation reports that analyze legal and practical gender equality frameworks and conditions in partner countries. Additionally, they have created a career tracking system, an online survey, and qualitative interviews to evaluate gender equality issues in the profession. YesWePlan! has developed a collection of best practice examples, which enables project partners to learn from each other.
These examples include initiatives like the French ARVHA Women Architects Award, which has been successfully transferred to Austria. The brand's results and recommendations were presented and discussed with major European professional organizations for Architects and Civil Engineers at a project closing event. To provide a comprehensive overview, YesWePlan! has a compendium that contains all the project's outputs.
With its commitment to promoting gender equity and providing practical tools and resources, YesWePlan! is making a valuable contribution to the field of Architecture and Civil Engineering
