Sakura Haitao is a Japanese shopping and auction proxy service that helps customers purchase goods from Japan and have them delivered directly to them. Its offerings include proxy bidding on Yahoo! Japan Auctions and purchasing from Japanese retailers and marketplaces, including Rakuten and Mercari. The site says its auction listings are synchronized with Yahoo! Japan in real time, helping users follow available items and participate in bidding.

It promotes low service and Japanese bank-transfer fees, which can start at zero, and offers monthly plans priced at RMB 666 for service fees and RMB 999 for bank-transfer fees, with unlimited bidding described for the plans. Sakura Haitao covers a wide range of product categories, reflecting the variety available through Japanese marketplaces. These include electronics, computers, cameras, home furnishings, kitchenware, watches, jewelry, clothing, bags, shoes, collectibles, toys, models, musical instruments, art, and traditional Japanese crafts and clothing.

The platform also provides account registration, search, translation, help-center resources, and currency-rate information to support customers shopping across language and currency differences
