Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) is a Tribal Organization that administers a comprehensive healthcare system for 58 rural communities in southwest Alaska. The federally recognized Tribes in its service area have authorized YKHC to provide health services on behalf of the federal Indian Health Service. Guided by a commitment to helping people and families achieve excellent health, YKHC serves the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta through community clinics, sub-regional clinics in five larger communities, and the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital.
Its services include primary and behavioral healthcare, dental and optometry care, pharmacy services, childhood vaccinations, women’s and pre-maternal health, long-term care, and counseling and treatment for people with substance use disorders. YKHC also provides community health and wellness programs, public health services, disease prevention, environmental health and engineering, travel management, and purchased and referred care. Patients can access appointment scheduling, cost-of-services information, and the myYKHealth online portal to view medical information and connect with their care team.
