YKP AUGUSTÓW

Yacht Klub Polski Augustów is a sailing club in Augustów, Poland, combining a long-standing maritime heritage with training, sport, and recreational sailing. The club traces its tradition to 1924–1939 and was reactivated in 2023 by local sailors, volunteers, and water-sports coaches. Its mission is to bring together the regional sailing community and introduce young people to sailing, navigation, sportsmanship, and maritime traditions.

The club offers sailing instruction and sports activities for young sailors and experienced participants, including training in the Optimist class, windsurfing lessons, and courses leading to a yacht skipper’s certificate. It also organizes regattas, including events for the Podlaskie Sailing League and the Mała Liga Optimist youth series. For visitors and members, the club promotes recreational sailing, organized trips, shared cruises, and yacht charters for journeys on seas and oceans. Its marina and clubhouse also host social gatherings and club celebrations. With experienced instructors, a focus on developing sailing skills, and respect for tradition, Yacht Klub Polski Augustów welcomes people looking to learn, compete, travel, or connect with fellow sailors.
