YMAA Portugal is an association dedicated to teaching and promoting Chinese martial arts and related practices. Its programs serve students in Almada, Amadora, Lisbon and other locations, with classes and training in Shaolin Kung Fu, Taijiquan, Qigong, Sanshou/Sanda, Chinese wrestling and Qin Na. The school also offers instruction in self-defence, martial ethics, lion dance and junior programs. Its activities combine physical training with the study of traditional methods, including Qigong practices for health and internal development.

Alongside regular classes, YMAA Portugal organises national training seminars, specialist workshops, grading examinations, summer camps and events that bring together students and instructors. Recent programs have included Chinese wrestling and Qin Na, as well as online Qigong courses covering topics such as the Eight Pieces of Brocade, Taijiquan foundations and energy circulation. The association highlights instructor development, student learning and community among its national and international members. Through its schools, educational resources and events, YMAA Portugal provides opportunities for beginners and experienced practitioners to explore Chinese martial arts, improve their skills and deepen their understanding of these disciplines.
