Yngling

The International Yngling Association (IYA) is the global governing body dedicated to promoting and supporting the Yngling sailing class. Established to maintain the one-design character of the Yngling yacht, IYA works closely with World Sailing to oversee the rules and regulations governing the class. The association encourages both national and international competition, fostering a vibrant community of Yngling enthusiasts around the world.

IYA organizes various regattas and championships, including upcoming events such as the 2025 World Championships at the Oosterschelde in the Netherlands. They offer valuable resources for sailors, including a comprehensive regatta calendar, results, and access to national associations. IYA's commitment to youth sailing is evident through initiatives such as the Yngling for Future Youth Package, which aims to introduce younger generations to the sport. With a wealth of documents and publications, including international magazines and championship rules, the International Yngling Association serves as a hub for Yngling sailing culture and competition.
