Marta e Hugo

Yoga Coimbra is a studio founded and led by Marta Silva and Hugo Oliveira, offering yoga and Pilates to support physical and mental wellbeing. Drawing on their training and experience since 2011, they work with practitioners who have varied goals, needs and levels of experience. Sessions use evidence-informed techniques and are designed to help manage stress, ease muscular tension, develop breathing and posture, improve mobility, and support focus, balance and sleep.

The studio offers practice in person and online, both live and on demand, with group classes and private, personalised sessions. Its programmes include classical and contemporary yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation and Pilates exercises that strengthen the core. Yoga Coimbra also provides tailored programmes for businesses and institutions. Its approach is preventive rather than therapeutic, and encourages participants to respect their personal limits and practise at their own pace. Alongside classes, the studio shares articles and resources on topics such as breathing, workplace exhaustion and finding a suitable place to practise, and offers a community for updates on programmes and content.
