About YOLRED
Youth Leaders for Restoration and Development (YOLRED) is a community organization in Uganda founded and led by former abducted child soldiers. YOLRED aims to create a peaceful society where communities have access to fair justice and employment for sustainable development. The organization supports former child soldiers, child mothers, persons with disabilities, and war-affected communities in obtaining a better future through skills development, capacity building, and training on fair justice, agriculture, land rights, and livelihood opportunities.
YOLRED's mission is to promote peace, unity, and transformation in Northern Uganda by providing education, training, and support to vulnerable groups. The organization offers programs such as music therapy, workshops, livelihood activities, education programs, and research.
