York FootGolf is a recreational venue on Shipton Road, around three miles from York city centre, offering a lively alternative to traditional golf. Visitors play by kicking a football around a course, following golf-style rules and scoring. The course has 15 holes, with an expansion to 18 planned for summer 2026, and is promoted as a destination for families, friends and groups.
The venue caters for stag and hen parties, corporate and adult groups, birthday celebrations and junior teams. Packages can combine course play with food, drinks and, for birthday events, room hire. Advertised starting prices are £18 per person for stag and hen packages, £16 for corporate and adult groups, and £15 for birthday parties and junior teams.
After a round, guests can unwind at the clubhouse, bar and beer garden. York FootGolf is open seven days a week from 10am during its stated 2026 opening period, although regular opening days and hours vary with the season and school holidays.
