Yorkshire Velvet

Yorkshire Velvet offers luxury self-catering holiday stays in North Yorkshire, including The Velveteen Bath House, a refurbished two-bedroom townhouse in the market town of Helmsley. Set a short walk from the town square, the cottage provides a comfortable base for couples and families exploring Helmsley and the North York Moors National Park. It welcomes guests travelling with children and dogs, with a dog-safe garden and thoughtful extras for both.

The Velveteen Bath House combines stylish accommodation with facilities designed for relaxing stays. Guests can prepare meals in the open-plan kitchen, unwind in the garden’s Swedish sauna and Ofuro hot tub, enjoy films in the cinema room, or relax beside the open fire in the snug. The property also has bedrooms, bathrooms and spaces for dining and spending time together. Yorkshire Velvet presents the cottage as a convenient base for discovering local restaurants, pubs, independent shops, galleries and nearby walks. The brand also shares news through its blog and social media, and offers a newsletter for updates.
