Introducing YouMeWe, a Tokyo-based non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing and supporting local students from institutionalized homes. With a mission to assist these students in becoming fully independent as they reach the age of 18, YouMeWe focuses on providing guidance-based support programs, improving their financial literacy, and helping them overcome the challenges they face. These challenges include financial limitations that may hinder their education, as well as post-traumatic stress resulting from poverty, abuse, and neglect.

YouMeWe creates programs that promote digital literacy, communication skills through language lessons, writing programs, and cultural exchanges, and connectedness through mentoring and online exchange programs. By expanding their technical skills and fostering self-expression and collaboration, we empower these students to navigate their way towards a positive and successful future. You can get involved by volunteering and sharing your experience or skill sets to guide children on their path to becoming productive and independent young adults.
