Young Athletics

Young Athletics is a youth sports organization dedicated to empowering young people through basketball tournaments and events. Its mission is to help athletes build confidence, leadership, accountability, and teamwork while encouraging healthy competition, personal development, and lasting friendships. The organization emphasizes growth both on and off the court, with attention to athletes’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Its inclusive events welcome boys’ and girls’ teams in grades 3–12, with A, B, and C skill levels to accommodate different abilities.

Young Athletics runs a seasonal tournament schedule at venues in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Events include the Spooky Season Classic, Rhode Island State Championships, Everybody Eats, New England B-Ball Challenge, The Summit, Fall Tip Off Classic, and Color Of Hope. Teams can register for individual tournaments or explore tournament packages, with multi-team discounts available. Young Athletics also provides referees and scorers for its events. Through welcoming competition and a supportive atmosphere, the organization aims to make participation enjoyable and help young athletes develop skills and positive habits that extend beyond basketball.
