About The Young Eye Foundation
Young Eye Foundation is a registered non-profit organization based in Kampala, Uganda. Our mission is to enhance the lives of Ugandan children through educational initiatives and community engagement. Our story began in 2019 when Darren Baine started the foundation as a school project called Advocacy for Schools (ADFOSCH).
Initially focused on providing educational materials and organizing community events, we quickly achieved significant success. In 2021, we shifted our focus to early childhood care and education, adopting a comprehensive approach to children's learning. Seeing the positive outcomes, we expanded our efforts to include marginalized youth.
We collaborated with the Naguru remand home in Uganda, providing resources and launching a skill-building program in hair and nail dressing in 2022. The Young Eye Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in Uganda. With a passionate team, including our founder Darren Baine and a dedicated group of individuals, we strive to create better opportunities and brighter futures for the children we serve.
