Young Talkers

Young Talkers is a mobile paediatric speech pathology service supporting children and teenagers across Melbourne’s City of Casey region. Founded in 2023, the practice provides home-based therapy for clients aged 18 months to 18 years, helping children work on communication in a familiar and comfortable setting. Its services address speech sound difficulties, including pronunciation problems and lisps; early and school-aged language development; literacy challenges such as reading and spelling; and communication needs among neurodivergent children.

The practice is led by Elizabeth, a certified practising speech pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia, with experience working with children and teens in private practice since 2016. Her qualifications include a Master of Speech Pathology Studies and postgraduate study in developmental linguistics. Young Talkers serves suburbs including Berwick, Cranbourne, Narre Warren, Pakenham and nearby areas. Families may be eligible to use NDIS self-managed or plan-managed funding, a Medicare Team Care Arrangement, or private health insurance; families without these funding options can also enquire. No referral is required.
