Welcome to Your Daily Poem, a brand dedicated to sharing the joy of poetry with everyone. Our purpose is to introduce poetry to those who haven't yet discovered its beauty. It all began in 2001 when poet Jayne Jaudon Ferrer set out to prove that poetry could be far from boring.

During National Poetry Month that year, she emailed a daily poem to a small group of family and friends, creating the "Poetry Parade. " The response was so positive that Ferrer continued this tradition for the next seven years. This eventually led to the birth of Your Daily Poem, where we now archive nearly 5000 poems from over 700 poets, with a new poem added every day.

We believe that poetry can be outrageous, inspiring, hilarious, heartbreaking, sobering, and surprising.
