Your Wild Life

Your Wild Life is a unique initiative that delves into the hidden biodiversity permeating our everyday lives—from our homes to our food systems. This engaging project invites participation from citizens and students alike, creating a collaborative network that extends from North Carolina State University to global contributors. Focused on understanding microbial communities, Your Wild Life explores the intricate relationships between plants and their microbiomes, offering insights into agro-biodiversity and the impacts on agriculture.

The brand also emphasizes the science behind fermentation, highlighting the role of microorganisms in enhancing food preservation and nutrition. With engaging projects like the Cat Tracker, which offers a personality test for felines, and The Sourdough Project, where participants contribute sourdough samples for analysis, Your Wild Life continually engages the community. By fostering a deeper appreciation for our microbial partners, Your Wild Life encourages everyone to explore and understand the vital roles these invisible ecosystems play in our lives.
